About This Project

Sunsweet Growers Inc. is the world’s largest handler of dried tree fruits including cranberries, apricots and prunes. A grower-owned marketing cooperative representing more than one-third of the prune market worldwide, Sunsweet processes more than 50,000 tons of prunes a year. They came to us wanting a website to represent their Naturals line. They required a custom built content management system where they could edit all aspects of the site.

Skills Used

Xplode Marketing designed the website based around their already existing marketing materials.  We kept the bamboo theme throughout the website and focused on keeping the website simple and clean and allow the brand to do all of the talking.  We custom built the content management system the site sits on. It was built in PHP and utilizes MySQL databases.

Additional Information

Today, Sunsweet processes and markets the dried fruit production of more than 300 grower-members with orchard holdings primarily in California’s Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys. After nearly nine decades, Sunsweet boasts an enviable brand recognition of 85 percent in American households, placing it in the very top rank of long-standing successful American products.
